Biden’s Fox News Frenemy Admits Impeachment Effort is a Bust

President Biden’s most iconic Fox News frenemy, Peter Doocy, admitted on air that House Republicans “have so far not been able to find concrete evidence that Joe Biden personally profited from his son’s oversea business” despite “being at this for years.”

The admission, made to Fox Business anchor Stuart Varney, no doubt embarrassed and infuriated Fox News viewers and many of Doocy’s own colleagues.

Doocy is one of the Fox News reporters assigned to cover the President at the White House. Over the years, numerous interactions between Doocy and Biden or press secretaries Jen Psaki and Karine-Jean Pierre have gone viral.

Perhaps the most iconic of these exchanges was in 2022 when Doocy asked Biden whether America’s high inflation was “a political liability ahead of the midterms,” to which an amused Biden responded—in front of a hot microphone—“No, it’s a great asset, more inflation. What a stupid son of a bitch.”

Despite enthusiastically supporting someone who routinely insulted members of the press, Donald Trump, Fox News clutched its pearls over the President’s choice of words, a thick-skinned Doocy took the comment in stride and graciously told the public that Biden personally called him afterwards to smooth things over.

Doocy’s blunt assessment of House Republicans’ investigations into the President vindicates impeachment skeptics and undermines the desperate GOP in what is otherwise their media home turf.
