With President Biden reportedly courting Taylor Swift’s endorsement, Fox News has unleashed a constant stream of criticism and conspiracy against the pop culture juggernaut.

Numerous Fox News personalities have been attacking Swift with increasing intensity and regularity, particularly since it was reported that the Biden-Harris campaign is banking on her endorsement to maximize their hold on younger voters.

“So don’t get involved, don’t get involved in politics,” slurred Jeanine Pirro about Swift on The Five, “we don’t wanna see you there!”

“Taylor Swift is smarter than many give her credit for,” said Tomi Lahren to Sean Hannity, “My money is that she will probably shut up about politics. That's the best thing we can ask for!”

“Before we started this segment,” contributor Charly Arnolt said to anchor Martha McCallum,” we both said that we were cheering for the opposite team—the [Baltimore] Ravens—to beat out the [Kansas City] Chiefs just because we have had enough of Taylor Swift for now.”

Swift is dating Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce and has been a high profile guest at numerous football games.

“Just please don’t believe everything Taylor Swift says,” Arnolt concluded to the audience, “we’re begging you!”

Though much of her career was apolitical, Swift publicly endorsed Democratic challengers to Tennessee Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn in 2018, Joe Biden for the presidency in 2020, and has repeatedly encouraged her fans to register to vote.

Vote.org concluded she was responsible for 35,000 registrants on National Voter Registration Day after a single social media post.

Ironically, Swift has not endorsed any candidate for the 2024 election—which makes Fox’s bewildering decision to repeatedly attack her all the more risky.

It may very well provoke the very outcome they dread most.
