Trump’s Racist Immigration Policy Keeps Deporting and Hurting Legal Migrants

A Hmong-American woman who is a mother of five has been deported from the Milwaukee area to Laos, a country she has never set foot in. Ma Yang, 37, is being held in a rooming house in Laos, surrounded by military guards. She does not speak the language, knows no one, and says the military is holding all of her documents.

DHS detained a Lebanese doctor with a work visa to teach medicine in the US

A doctor who was arriving in the United States to teach medicine was detained at Boston's Logan International Airport on March 13. Dr. Rasha Alawieh is a Lebanese citizen who had a valid H1B visa, or work visa, issued on March 11. She was also employed by Brown University as an assistant professor of medicine because she is a kidney transplant specialist.

Fabian Schmidt, a U.S. Green Card holder, was stripped naked, "violently interrogated" and sent to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility upon his return to the country last Friday. Schmidt, a New Hampshire resident who has had held a green card since 2008 after moving to the U.S. in 2007, was reportedly detained at the Logan Airport in Massachusetts upon returning from Luxembourg last week where he was "violently interrogated," stripped naked by immigration officials and put into a cold shower.

"He hardly got anything to drink. And then he wasn't feeling very well and he collapsed," says the victim's mother.

Tim Walz Isn’t Done

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz visited Iowa on Friday to answer the “primal scream” coming from Americans demanding that elected officials do more to push back against Trump’s country-destroying regime. It was Walz’s first stop on a tour of swing districts where potentially vulnerable Republicans are not holding public town halls of their own. “A town hall is not a performative event,” Walz told the crowd. “It's an expression of the people's right to petition their government.”
