MAGA Fox News Host Publicly Concedes Biden’s Economy is Strong

The economy under President Biden is so strong that Larry Kudlow, a devoutly MAGA Fox News host who served as Donald Trump’s top economic advisor, publicly apologized for his harsh predictions of the Biden economy on air.

After the Dow Jones reported another successive record-breaking close, Kudlow uttered a loud and literal “mea culpa!” while appearing on a Fox News panel.

“Who else am I going to talk to about the economy?” asked Sandra Smith.

“I mean, my mea culpa! I was wrong about the slowdown and the recession,” Kudlow conceded. “So was the entire forecasting—”

“I don’t think you were wrong!” Smith interrupted.

“Well, the Fed—everyone was wrong.” Kudlow said.

His blatant Trump loyalties notwithstanding, to be fair to Kudlow: many economists and financial advisors indeed predicted another Covid-triggered recession after the economic recovery under President Biden. 

But the U.S. economy defied all expectations, continuing to grow with each consecutive quarter and keep unemployment at near historic lows for an absolutely historic duration.

This, combined with increasingly positive consumer sentiment and public acknowledgement from the president’s political enemies, may allow Biden and Democrats a window to close the polling gap between them and Republicans on the economy.
