Trump tried to strongman the US with his birthday military parade, but it was COMPLETELY overshadowed by the nationwide “No Kings” protests. People showed up and showed out with creative takedowns over Trump’s policies using signs, symbols, and even a big “Baby Trump.”
Approximately 2,000 protests were organized with an estimated 6 million in attendance. I can't wait for him to lie about his crowd size again.
While the exact number of people taking part in the protests has not been confirmed, data experts put it at somewhere between 4 to 6 million. In NYC alone an estimated a crowd of about 50,000 gathered, while an estimated 80,000 protestors came out in Philadelphia.
The widespread demonstrations come just as Trump kicked off his 79th birthday parade, which also serves to mark the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army.
