Trump's Second Term: Day 1/1460

We are now hurtling full speed into a second term under Donald Trump. Trump's inauguration broke many traditions - being held inside, inviting foreign leaders who are all almost exclusively far-right, billionaire business leaders, and ironically Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Trump is set to sign over 100 executive orders on day one. To kick things off, here are the biggest day-one promises the 47th president has planned for us:
Changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America
Changing the name of Mount Denali back to Mount McKinley
An executive order stating flags must be flown at full height on every future inauguration day
Declaring a national emergency at the border with Mexico so the military can restrict refugees and asylum
Restart a policy to make refugee seekers wait on the Mexico side of the border
Ending birthright citizenship
Ending the CBP One app that gave legal entry to migrants
Ease regulations on oil and natural gas production
A memorandum to lower inflation via broad government involvement
Terminating all DEI programs within the federal government
Halting all DEI programs
Roll back protections for trans individuals (placing restrictions on transgender students, excluding them from Title IX protections, banning and restricting gender-conforming healthcare)
An executive order declaring 2 immutable sexes male and female, based on whether they were born with eggs or sperm and not based on chromosomes. The order will also require federal prisons and shelters for migrants and rape victims to be segregated by sex as defined by the order.
Pardons for J6 rioters
Declaring an energy emergency to increase oil drilling and eliminating Biden's electric vehicle mandate
One thing is glaringly missing from this slew of performative orders - his threatened tariffs on China, Mexico, Canada, and other countries.
