What Do You Mean the Trumps Staged That Greenland Visit???

Do you remember last week when Donald Trump Jr. and Charlie Kirk flew to Greenland to make their daddy proud?
Greenland is Already Great
After weeks of threatening to make Greenland the 52nd state (after Canada, of course), Donald Trump sent his least favorite namesake to Greenland for a photo op. Upon his arrival in the airport, he was met with a crowd of excited people wearing fresh, crisp, red MAGA hats.
When asked why he suddenly took this trip to Greenland, Don Jr. insisted he was merely there to “see a lot of the sights, talk to some people and have a good time”.
He was later pictured in front of a statue of Hans Egede, a Danish-Norwegian missionary who is seen as a symbol of Danish colonialism. Coincidentally that is where he and his crew handed out “make Greenland Great Again” hats.
And because that wasn't heavy-handed enough, Don Jr. then went to Hotel Hans Egede for lunch with a group of people wearing Maga hats. During the meal, he called daddy dearest who told the crowd over speakerphone “We’re going to treat you well.”
But Jørgen Bay-Kastrup, the hotel’s chief executive, said the crowd wasn't made up of diehard Greenlandic Trump supporters but were instead homeless people his team had found on the street.
Since Trump Jr’s visit, people dressed in Maga caps and American flags have reportedly been distributing $100 bills and filming it outside the supermarket opposite the hotel.
An article in the Greenlandic newspaper Sermitsiaq quotes a man who says his 11 year old son had come home with a $100 bill. He told the paper, which described those handing out the money as Canadian-American influencers: “It’s really borderline shocking to find out that my 11-year-old son has received money from an adult he doesn’t know.”
Obviously this is a distraction for his base, probably to keep them from noticing that he's already reneged on most of is campaign promises.
Aaja Chemnitz, a Greenlandic member of the Danish parliament, said the idea of a US takeover is out of the question. “I don’t want to be a pawn in Trump’s hot dreams of expanding his empire to include our country,” she said.
