DOGE Gets Dunked on by the Courts

In the latest blow to Musk's attempt to destroy America, a judge has ordered that the Trump administration must rehire the 24,500 federal workers axed by Elon Musk. Court papers reveal that 18 government agencies were already working to bring back the probationary employees who were unjustly fired by DOGE. U.S. District Judge James Bredar ruled last week that the mass DOGE layoffs violated government regulations and has ordered the fired staff to be reinstated pending further litigation. Federal agency officials say the axed employees have either been put back to work or were in the process of returning. A federal judge in San Francisco has also ordered that probationary workers who have worked for the government for less than a year should be reinstated.

The Trump administration has appealed both court decisions. If the appeals are successful, agency bosses worry the re-hired staffers could be re-fired.

In a third court decision, a federal judge on Tuesday found that Elon Musk and his DOGE goons likely violated the Constitution when they shut down USAID.

U.S. District Judge Theodore Chuang ruled in favor of a group of more than two dozen unnamed current and former USAID employees and contractors who had challenged the efforts to shutter USAID, which were mounted by DOGE and Musk, a senior White House adviser who President Trump has said is the leader of the task force.'

Chuang granted in part their request for a preliminary injunction and said in a 68-page decision that DOGE and Musk likely violated the Constitution's Appointments Clause and separation of powers.

Musk was ordered to reinstate access to email, payment, and other electronic systems to all current USAID employees and personal services contractors. The judge also prevented DOGE and Musk from taking any action relating to the shutdown of USAID, including placing employees on administrative leave, firing USAID workers, closing its buildings, bureaus, or offices, and deleting the contents of its websites or collections.

The Trump administration is likely to appeal this decision as well.

Tesla Stock (And Cars) Are Crashing and Burning

At 2:45 am on Tuesday, March 18, 5 teslas were destroyed by an allegedly intentional fire. Elon Musk took time out of his super busy day to whine about it in Twitter, calling the act of vandalism "terrorism". Multiple reports of Tesla vehicles, charging stations, and dealerships being vandalized have surfaced in recent weeks—both nationally and internationally.

Musk's right-wing blitz has caused a downward spiral for Tesla stock, which has decreased 33% in one month of his government ruining antics.
