SpaceX Rocket Explodes as Elon Musk Attempts FAA/NASA Coup

Elon Musk has complained constantly about the "failings" of NASA and the FAA. He is also currently trying to convert NASA into SpaceX Part 2. He claims to be the better option yet one of his rocket ships exploded above Florida on Thursday.

That's right, ANOTHER SpaceX rocket has exploded and interrupted several Florida airports. In what SpaceX engineers are calling a "rapid unscheduled disassembly", it seems that the rocket lost several of its engines and rained down in parts over Florida, grounding several flights.

In a post-explosion statement, the FAA said it will require SpaceX to perform a mishap investigation into the loss of the massive rocket. With Musk's goons taking over the agency I'm doubtful that report will see the light of day.

SpaceX also claims that no toxic materials are present in the debris, and no significant impacts are expected to marine species or water quality. This isn't their first failure this year. On January 16th another rocket unexpectedly exploded over Turks and Caicos.

Thursday's rocket explosion occurred just three days after SpaceX publicly confirmed plans to bring Starship launches and production facilities to Florida's Space Coast — with intentions to launch the first Starship by the end of the year.
